Alison Edgar MBE speaks about boys on Linkedin

On Tuesday 17th August, we were so excited to be mentioned in a Linkedin post by one of our favourite people in the world of business. We have spent hours listening to Alison share her business advice and encouragement on Clubhouse, which led to us buying & reading her No1 best selling book “Smash it”, which has become one of our top books that we recommend to everyone.

“I met Jack and Harry Knight, on Clubhouse at the start of this year and their story impressed me so much. They told me how they started their business, Animate Our Logo in the first lockdown at the ages of 15 (Jack) and 12 (Harry) years old. Which is inspiring in itself, then they sent me some of their work and I couldn’t quite believe it, it was amazing!!

These boys are so switched on, the first message they sent me on LinkedIn was very professional (better than some first messages I’ve received from adults). They have business know-how and skill beyond their years. I can’t remember what I was doing at 15 and 12 years old but it definitely wasn’t running a business.”

Alison is known as “The Entrepreneur’s Godmother” and she can not have been any more supportive and encouraging to us, and we are very thankful to be able to call her a friend.
